Alan Myson is a composer and recording artist (under the name ‘Ital Tek’) based near Oxford, UK.

Signed in his teens to the renowned British electronic music label Planet Mu, Alan has gone on to release seven albums and tour across the globe in a career spanning almost two decades. His sound is at the forefront of dark and evocative cinematic electronic music and is regularly featured across television, trailers, and advertising campaigns. His TV credits include original music for two series of the BBC’s Top Gear and the Channel 4 documentary series Taken: Hunting The Sex Traffickers.

Recently, Alan was invited to score the feature film Urchin, the directorial debut of BAFTA-nominated actor Harris Dickinson. The film received acclaim at its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025.

He has also composed numerous tracks for advertising and sync. His music has been commissioned or featured by commercial brands including LancômeMangoPlayStationGoProT-Mobile3AmazonRed BullDKNY, and the UEFA Champions League, amongst many others.

In a collaboration with The Tom Dale Company, he scored the award-winning touring dance performance Surge, which was also featured as a short film for BBC iPlayer.

Alan also worked with the BAFTA-winning studio Roll7, composing the original score for the sci-fi video game Laser League. The game was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in May 2018 to critical acclaim.

Alan is currently working on a number of upcoming unannounced projects across video game, television, VR, and live performance, as well as new material under the Ital Tek moniker.
